Holistic Meal Prep

With 10+ years of experience in the service industry, working in some of the Bay Areas most popular restaurants, a family full of chefs and restaurant owners, and establishing a food pop-up of my own at one point. Cooking and food have always been a passion of mine.

I was shocked after having my son when my enthusiasm to cook fell by the waist-side. Exhaustion, and a full schedule of breastfeeding, bottle feeding and pumping left me with no motivation to meal prep, and unfortunately depression and anxiety quickly followed. A meal began to look like shoving a cookie or a handful of cereal into my mouth. Not ideal during a time when your body depends on well rounded nourishment.

Focusing on nutrition postpartum helps the healing process, and can invigorate your milk supply if thats the road you’ve chosen. The Foodie Doula delivers meals that are designed to be comforting and delicious, as well as restorative. All of our food is made with local organically sourced ingredients, and is minimally processed, free of refined sugars, and mindful of dairy and gluten . Our menu rotates seasonally and new items are featured every week. We offer the option to have 4,6, or 8 meals delivered on a one time or recurring basis. We deliver throughout San Francisco, Alameda, Oakland, Berkeley, and the neighboring Richmond Area.

 The food is not only amazingly delicious but also healthy and homemade using quality ingredients with the purpose of providing nutrition and much deserved energy. It really took a load off our minds to have healthy meals stocked up and did wonders for our bodies in helping us weather the transition into newborn parenthood. Teyler was as heartwarming as her food was, providing us with knowledge and comfort that left us feeling energized and capable. Our favorites was her free range chicken and tomatillo enchiladas, caldo de pollo and chocolate chip cookies.”

Postpartum support can assist you in getting acclimated to the role of a parent, and lend a hand in setting the foundation for a positive family rhythm. Becoming a parent is such a transformative time, and I hope to help you honor that. The perinatal experience looks different for everyone. I strive to support my clients through a lens of non-judgment, information/ skill-share, partnership, love and understanding. I believe in creating a space for self care alongside infant care, because a strong healthy family requires support from every angle. It takes a village and I’m here to help. Virtual Postpartum Doula Support

I whole heartedly believe that postpartum doula support is something that people of all walks of life should have access to. I offer virtual doula sessions to families seeking advice during the postpartum period. If in home support isn’t in the cards or not quite what you’re looking for, remote consultations might be the perfect fit. Our virtual sessions go over everything from breastfeeding/ chest feeding, to sleep training and beyond. The inundation of conflicting information out there can sometimes do more harm than good. This is an opportunity to speak with a professional about any infant or mommy related issue that may require clarity. I make it my mission to come to the table whole heartedly and without judgment. I bring with me years of experience, research based information, and an empathetic understanding of the postpartum period. I’m here to answer all of your questions, and help you fill your parenting tool box so that you can be on your way; successfully headed in the right direction. I also provide my families with a recording of our sessions, personalized notes focusing on key points of our discussion, and a list of resources and guides that can be referenced long after our time together is over.

Breastfeeding/ Chestfeeding Class

Establishing a good milk supply and a comfortable nursing routine begins the moment your baby is earth side . Most expectant parents prioritize childbirth classes or infant care classes, but what many don’t know, is that if you plan to nurse, a Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding class is essential to setting you up for success. I offer small virtual and in person classes that touch on subjects such as, How to Get the Perfect Latch, How to Establish a Good Milk Supply, How to Know Baby is Getting Enough Milk, and How to Transition Back to Work While Nursing.
