With 10+ years of experience in the service industry, working in some of the Bay Areas most popular restaurants, a family full of chefs and restaurant owners, and establishing a food pop-up of my own at one point. Cooking and food have always been a passion of mine.
I was shocked after having my son when my enthusiasm to cook fell by the waist-side. Exhaustion, and a full schedule of breastfeeding, bottle feeding and pumping left me with no motivation to meal prep, and unfortunately depression and anxiety quickly followed. A meal began to look like shoving a cookie or a handful of cereal into my mouth. Not ideal during a time when your body depends on well rounded nourishment.
Focusing on nutrition postpartum helps the healing process, and can invigorate your milk supply if thats the road you’ve chosen. The Foodie Doula delivers meals that are designed to be comforting and delicious, as well as restorative. All of our food is made with local organically sourced ingredients, and is minimally processed, free of refined sugars, and mindful of dairy and gluten . Our menu rotates seasonally and new items are featured every week. We offer the option to have 4,6, or 8 meals delivered on a one time or recurring basis. We deliver throughout San Francisco, Alameda, Oakland, Berkeley, and the neighboring Richmond Area.
