Hi! I’m Teyler. I’m a Mother, Wife, Postpartum Doula, Postpartum Chef, Lactation Educator, organic gardener, feminist, and activist. When I was newly postpartum my motivation to cook fell by the wayside, and depression and anxiety set in. After I recovered and found my rhythm as a mother, I made it my mission to incorporate holistic meal prep, and wellness coaching into my Doula services. I saw first hand how dramatically having access to nutritional support, and holistic resources, impacted my clients well being, and overall postpartum experience, and in turn my work became that much more rewarding.
After some time, It became glaringly obvious that a majority of the people that could benefit from nutritional and postpartum support the most, have little to no access to it, so I made the decision to transform my business in a way that would allow me to broaden my reach, and my communities access to wholesome meals and postpartum support.
I deeply believe that holistic perinatal care, and access to nutrient rich meals, should not be a luxury item. I believe that reproductive rights are human rights, and that extends well beyond the postpartum period. I believe a more Just society begins when we uplift and empower women, children, marginalized communities, and families, and I also believe that if we band together to support small businesses and our community, on a grassroots level, we can make a life changing impact.
